HOW IT WORKS

In a hydraulic or pneumatic servo system, the MICROTORK® valve provides precise and accurate continuous positioning, using low actuation torque mechanical feedback.

An example application shows a stack height control system with the MICROTORK® valve maintaining constant height of the stack as sheets or plates are removed or added.

When a sheet is removed from the stack, the feedback arm drops, rotating the MICROTORK® valve slightly clockwise, this rotation opens the ports to fluid flow, extending the cylinder and raising the stack. As the stack rises, the feedback arm also rises and flow is reduced, and stops when the stack return to its original height.

When a sheet is added to the stack, the counterclockwise feedback arm rotation also rotates the rotor, lowering the stack to its original height.
